Mother Eve: Kindra Scharich & Ninth Planet
The fantastic musicians of Ninth Planet and the luminous mezzo-soprano Kinda Scharich join forces to perform Emma Logan's monodrama, Mother Eve. Described as "incendiary in sustaining a profound instability between music and words, inspiration and disillusionment, creativity and legacy", Mother Eve takes the character of Eve from the biblical creation myth and uses her as a kind of eternal icon, from the first false promise of paradise to all of humanity's false promises that follow.
